a new year, a new beginning

went to see obs last week, and baby is now 1.8 kg at 32 weeks ! looking at the graphs, i see that the weight hovers around the 50th percentile so i told myself we are doing fine. so far, it has been mostly a trouble free pregnancy except for the itchy tummy and now, constipation !
despite my love for fruit and vegetables, i've fallen victim to the big C. its not so much as inadequate fibre that is causing the constipation but its more like the slow down of peristalsis.

ge had the morning off so we went to ikea today and bought a whole lot of paraphernalia for baby. am glad we got most of the things already. things i cannot resist are clothes and toys ! ge is always trying to rein me in from buying but some are too adorable to resist. must exercise self control !
